South Korea Final 23-Man Roster for World Cup Championship

The World Cup begins June 11 and South Korea is one of the teams in Group B who will face-off against Greece as their opener on June 12 in Nelson Mandela Bay/Port Elizabeth.

The final 23-man roster for South Korea is outlined below.

Goalkeepers include Jung Sung-ryong from Seongnam, Lee Woon-jae from Suwon, and Kim Young-kwang from Ulsan.

Defenders include Kang Min-soo from Suwon, Cho Yong-hyung from Jeju, Cha Doo-ri from Freiburg, Germany, Lee Jung-soo from Kashima, Japan, Lee Young-pyo from Al Hilal, Saudi Arabia, Oh Beom-seok from Ulsan, Kim Hyung-il from Pohang, and Kim Dong-jin from Ulsan.

Midfielders include Park Ji-sung from Manchester United, England, Lee Chung-yong from Bolton, England, Kim Jung-woo from Gwangju, Kim Jae-sung from Pohang, Kim Nam-il from Tomsk, Russia, Kim Bo-kyung from Oita, Japan, and Ki Sung-yong from Celtic, Scotland.

Strikers include Lee Dong-gook from Jeonbuk, Yeom Ki-hun from Suwon, Lee Seung-ryul from Seoul, Ahn Jung-hwan from Dalian, China, and Park Chu-young from Monaco, France.
