By far one of the best NBA teams, the Los Angeles Lakers have signed Shannon Brown to a two-deal to stay with Los Angeles.  The free agent guard known for his dunks agreed to terms with the Lakers on Thursday.

The two-year deal is worth approximately $4.6 million according to Brown’s agent, Mark Barelstein.  The agreement process between the two parties has definitely taken some time but it has finally ended.  Brown has been given plenty of opportunities with other teams but his heart lies in Los Angeles with the Lakers.  He has been with them for two championships and hopes to be with them for a third and a fourth title championship during his two-year deal, which does include a player option for the contract’s second year.

Last season, the guard averaged just over 8 points per game, 2.3 rebounds, and 20.7 minutes.  These were all career highs for Brown as well.
