2010 Preliminary Rosters for World Cup Teams Netherlands and Denmark

We have compiled a list of the preliminary rosters for both teams – Netherlands and Denmark.  Both teams have a current 30-man roster that will be taken down to a 23-man roster come June 1.  This roster will be the final team that will go to the World Cup in South Africa.  June 14 is the opening game for the Netherlands where they will compete against Denmark.

Below you will find the preliminary 30-man rosters for both teams beginning with Team Netherlands.

For goalkeepers we have Michel Vorm from FC Utrecht, Sander Boschker from FC Twente and Maarten Stekelenburg from Ajax.

Netherlands forwards include Klaas-Jan Huntelaar from AC Milan, Robin van Persie from Arsenal, Jeremain Lens from AZ Alkmaar, Dirk Kuyt from Liverpool, Eljero Elia from Hamburger SV, Ryan Babel from Liverpool and Arjen Robben from Bayern Munich.

Defenders for the Netherlands team are Gregory van der Wiel from Ajax, Ron Vlaar from Feyenoord, Joris Mathijsen from Hamburger SV, John Heitinga from Everton, Giovanni van Bronckhorst from Feyenoord, Edson Braafheid from Celtic, Khalid Boulahrouz from Stuttgart, Vurnon Anita from Ajax and Andre Ooijer from PSV Eindhoven.

Midfielders for the Netherlands team include Demy de Zeeuw from Ajax, Rafael van der Vaart from Real Madrid, David Mendes da Silva from AZ Alkmaar, Stijn Schaars from AZ Alkmaar, Nigel de Jong from Manchester City, Ibrahim Afellay from PSV Eindhoven, Orlando Engelaar from PSV Eindhoven, Wout Brama from FC Twente, Mark van Bommel from Bayern Munich, Otman Bakkal from PSV Eindhoven and Wesley Sneijder from Inter Milan.

Goalkeepers for Team Denmark include Stephan Andersen from Brondby, Jesper Christiansen from FC Copenhagen, Kim Christensen from IFK Goteborg and Thomas Sorensen from Stoke.

Forwards are Soren Larsen from Duisburg, Nicklas Bendtner from Arsenal and Jon Dahl Tomasson from Feyenoord.

Denmark defenders are William Kvist Jorgensen from FC Copenhagen, Simon Busk Poulsen from AZ Alkmaar, Per Kroldrup from Fiorentina, Simon Kjaer from Palermo, Patrick Mtiliga from Malaga, Lars Jacobsen from Blackburn and Daniel Agger from Liverpool.

Midfielders for Denmark include Michael Krohn-Dehli from Brondby, Martin Jorgensen from Aarhus, Jesper Gronkjaer from FC Copenhagen, Dennis Rommedahl from Ajax, Thomas Kahlenberg from Wolfsburg, Thomas Enevoldsen from FC Groningen, Jakob Poulsen from Aarhus, Mikkel Beckmann from Randers, Michael Silberbauer from FC Utrecht, Daniel Jensen from Werder Bremen, Christian D. Eriksen from Ajax and Christian Poulsen from Juventus.
